A Quiet Flows the Don

On March 25, Seattle will host a rare and culturally significant theatrical event — A Quiet Flows the Don, a stage adaptation of Mikhail Sholokhov’s epic novel that brings an authentic tradition of Russian theater to an international audience.
The production features an acclaimed cast, including Tatiana Arntgolts, Sergei Peregudov, Glafira Tarhanova, Elena Aroseeva, Ilya Noskov, Maxim Vazhov, Vlad Bocharov, Angela, Kobzeva, and Svetlana Belskaya. At the heart of the story is the tragic love between Grigory Melekhov and Aksinya Astakhova, unfolding amid the Russian Civil War.
